Interschutz 2026 took place from June 1 to 6, 2026, at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. Organised by Deutsche Messe, it is the world’s leading trade fair for fire and rescue services, civil protection, safety and security, bringing together manufacturers, fire brigades, rescue organisations and authorities.
The 2026 edition occupied nine exhibition halls and several outdoor areas with around 120,000 m² of space. 1,772 exhibitors from 55 countries presented firefighting and fire prevention, rescue services, protective equipment, and communication and control centre technology. Focus topics were climate change, civil protection, artificial intelligence and sustainability.
The supporting programme included expert conferences, live demonstrations, rescue competitions, the FireFit Championships Europe and the premiere of the WildfireCamp. Day and full-event tickets were available, with press accreditation handled online.
Around 140,000 visitors from 144 countries attended. The next Interschutz takes place from May 20 to 25, 2030, in Hannover.
